The eighth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs recovered a fourth-quarter fumble by Ohio State and drove down the field for an 11-play, 80-yard drive to give Georgia a 21-14 victory in the first matchup between the SEC and Big Ten Conference in the Florida Citrus Bowl.
The game was billed as a showdown between Georgia’s Heisman Trophy finalist running back Garrison Hearst and Ohio State’s All-Big Ten performer Robert Smith.
