Northwestern and Auburn to meet in the 2021 Vrbo Citrus Bowl
The No. 14 Northwestern Wildcats (6-1, 6-1 Big Ten) and the Auburn Tigers (6-4, 6-4 SEC) will meet in the 2021 Vrbo Citrus Bowl. Florida Citrus Sports chairman Ken Robinson and CEO Steve Hogan announced the matchup today on behalf of the organization. 2021 Vrbo Citrus Bowl Set For New Year’s Day
The game dates and kickoff times for this season’s Vrbo Citrus Bowl was announced this morning as part of ESPN’s 2020-21 college football bowl schedule release. The 75th Vrbo Citrus Bowl, pitting the SEC against the Big Ten, will be played in its traditional New Year’s Day timeslot, kicking off at 1 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 1 on ABC.
