Big Ten Week Seven Preview

Northwestern (5-1, 1-1 Big Ten) travels to Minnesota (4-1, 0-1 Big Ten) as both teams look to make their way up the Legends Division. The Wildcats will try to guarantee bowl eligibility for the fifth-straight season. The Gophers look to go 4-0 firs the first time at TCF Bank Stadium.

Iowa (3-2, 1-0 Big Ten) try to keep their post at the top of the Legends Division when they battle Michigan State (4-2, 1-1 Big Ten) in East Lansing. The last two games between the two at Spartan Stadium have been decided by a combined five points (16-13, MSU, in 2008 and 15-13, Iowa, in 2009).

Wisconsin (4-2, 1-1 Big Ten) and Purdue (3-2, 0-1 Big Ten) meet in West Lafayette. The Badgers haven’t lost at Ross-Ade Stadium since 1997, the Boilermakers’ Alamo Bowl season.

Illinois (2-4, 0-2) looks for their first conference win as they head to the Big House for a matchup with Michigan (3-2, 0-1 Big Ten). A win would be the Fighting Illini’s second in Ann Arbor in its last three trips. Wolverines QB Denard Robinson needs just 95 rushing yards to surpass 4,000 in his career.

Ohio State (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) will try to stay on top of the Leaders Division when they travel to division foe Indiana (2-4, 0-2 Big Ten). The Buckeyes are in the top 10 in the nation in rushing, while the Hoosiers give up nearly 200 yards per game via the ground.
