Michigan (4-0) has emerged as strong favorites out of the Big Ten to head to Orlando, appearing in five of the seven projections. The Wolverines scored 17 unanswered second-half points to complete the comeback at Connecticut (0-3) last Saturday. Michigan will take this weekend off before opening up Big Ten play against Minnesota (4-0) October 5.

Wisconsin (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) who was the favorite a week ago appears in just one projection this week (Scout.com). The Badgers opened up Big Ten play with a 41-10 victory over Purdue (1-3, 0-1 Big Ten) Saturday afternoon. Wisconsin scored the game’s final 27 points on its way to the decisive victory. The Badgers head to Ohio State (4-0) for a Top 25 matchup this weekend.

Northwestern (4-0) returns to the projections after failing to appear last weekend. The Wildcats completed their nonconference schedule with a 35-21 win over Maine this past weekend. Northwestern sits idle this weekend before hosting fourth ranked Ohio State in Evanston next weekend.

The two favorites to appear in the Capital One Bowl out of the SEC will face off this weekend when LSU (4-0, 1-0 SEC) heads to Georgia (2-1, 1-0 SEC). LSU appeared in four projections this week thanks in part to a 35-21 win over conference-foe Auburn (3-1, 1-1 SEC). The Tigers improved to 39-2 in night games at Tiger Stadium under Les Miles with the win. The Bulldogs appear in two projections after their 45-21 win over North Texas. Aaron Murray threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns in the win. ESPN’s College GameDay will be in Athens, Ga. for the top-10 matchup.

Texas A&M (3-1, 0-1 SEC) is the only other SEC team to appear in a projection this week. The Aggies rebounded from their tough loss to Alabama with a 42-13 victory over in-state rival SMU (1-2) last weekend. For the seventh time in his career, Johnny Manziel threw for over 200 yards and rushed for over 100 in the same game. Texas A&M hits the road for the first time this season as it heads to Arkansas (3-1).

South Carolina (2-1, 1-1 SEC) fell from this week’s projections after appearing as Mark Schlabach’s pick last week. The Gamecocks were idle this past weekend before heading to Orlando to face UCF (3-0) this Saturday.
