Bruce Ellington’s Big Day Fuels Gamecocks Win

Before the Capital One Bowl, all eyes were on South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. However, the tandem of quarterback Connor Shaw and wide receiver Bruce Ellington stole the show with a few jaw-dropping plays.  In his last game as a South Carolina Gamecock, QB Connor Shaw didn’t disappoint. Players and coaches from Nebraska and South Carolina met at DisneyQuest for Day for Kids, a charity event with the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation. South Carolina Takes on Nebraska in 2012 Capital One Bowl

On behalf of its Selection Committee, Florida Citrus Sports’ Chairman Michel Champagne and CEO Steve Hogan announced today that the South Carolina Gamecocks and Nebraska Cornhuskers have been selected to play in the 2012 Capital One Bowl.  The New Year’s classic will kick off at 1:00 p.m. on January 2nd from Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in Orlando and will be televised nationally by ESPN.
