Week 13 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl Projections

In the last projections before the final rankings, the members of the media are projecting two teams from the Big Ten and three in the SEC.

Here are the latest projections for the 70th annual Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

Jerry Palm (CBSSports.com):  Michigan vs. Ole Miss

Jason Kirk (SBNation): Michigan vs. Florida

Mark Schlabach (ESPN):  Michigan vs. Florida

Brett McMurphy (ESPN):  Michigan vs. Florida

Bill Bender (Sporting News): Michigan vs. LSU

College Sports Madness: Michigan vs. Ole Miss

Bryan Fischer (Bleacher Report): Michigan vs. Florida

Pete Fiutak (Campus Insiders): Northwestern vs. Ole Miss

After the Wolverines fell to Ohio State in the season finale, seven of the eight media members have Michigan appearing in their fifth Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl. The five appearances would tie Penn State for most appearances by a Big Ten team.

The media has Michigan facing off against three different opponents. The first, Ole Miss, would be making its first Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl appearance.

Four members have Michigan facing off against Florida which would be a rematch of the 2008 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl that featured Michigan Head Coach Lloyd Carr’s last game as coach and Florida’s Tim Tebow.

Bill Bender of SportingNews has Michigan the LSU Tigers, who would be making its fourth Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl appearance.

Northwestern, the other Big Ten projection, would be making its second Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl appearance, first since 1997.
