Week 8 Poll Breakdown: SEC & Big Ten
With only one meeting between ranked teams across the SEC and Big Ten, movement in the polls by either conference was modest. Ole Miss, coming off consecutive losses, defeated Texas A&M to make the biggest jump in the polls. Mississippi State, after defeating Kentucky, entered the AP poll for the first time this season.
