The second, Iowa, would be returning to Orlando for its second overall appearance.

Three new teams enter the projections. Minnesota, who played in the 2015 Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, would be making its second appearance. Michigan State, who has three previous appearances, is paired up with Texas A&M, the second of three projected SEC West teams who have not previously gone bowling in Orlando.
For the fifth week in a row, College Sports Madness has Mississippi State making its Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl debut.
